Lock Joint Tube has implemented a new and revolutionary weather-protectant basecoat that will significantly extend the lifespan of galvanized tube, especially in extreme or unique environments where the possibility of corrosion is increased.

We call it Weather-LOCK.  

The combined strength of three protective elements that make up Weather-LOCK is applied to the steel and covered with our signature Lock-On-Galv clearcoat.  This combination of Weather-LOCK, with or without the addition of Lock-On-Galv, provides 10 times the protection from corrosion, compared to other galvanized coatings in the industry. That result comes after 10 years of research and development.

  
Weather-LOCK also provides users flexibility, in that it can be used on tubing that is fabricated, powder coated, or used in robotic welders.  It can be applied across all 360 ODs that Lock Joint Tube manufacturers. That is three times the number of ODs compared to our closest competitor.
